We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you and introduce you to our school community here at East Hanningfield.   

At East Hanningfield CofE Primary Academy, we prioritise positive relationships, academic achievement, and spiritual development. Our team of teachers and support staff are passionate about nurturing a love for learning in every child, empowering them to reach their fullest potential academically, socially, and spiritually.

All schools have their own distinctive ‘feel’ and we believe that the ‘family feel’ at East Hanningfield Church of England Primary Academy is a direct reflection of our caring, inclusive atmosphere in which everyone is respected and Christian values are promoted.

We are very proud that following an Ofsted inspection in June 2024 and a SIAMS inspections in March 2019 the school was judged to be 'Good'. Both reports can be found on this website. 

We are also extremely proud to lead a team of staff who are happy, child focused and completely committed to providing the very best opportunities for all the children in our care.  The staff team, supported by governors, deliver a rich and challenging curriculum to prepare children for their future and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to pursue learning.

Parents are actively welcomed as partners; we know that children thrive when school and home are mutually supportive of each other. The school values and appreciates parental support for the wider school.
